Background: Immunization is an effort to reduce child mortality and prevent infectious diseases, such as tuberculosis, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, measles, and hepatitis. Improving immunization efforts is crucial to achieving a high level of community immunity and eliminating Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPDs) through increasingly effective, efficient, and high-quality immunization services. It is important that cadres actively participate in the implementation of the posyandu program, especially in providing immunizations to infants and toddlers. If the cadres fulfill their roles effectively, mothers will be more likely to bring their children to posyandu for immunizations. Objective: Increase the knowledge and active participation of cadres regarding the completeness of basic infant immunization. Method: Examine the basic immunization status and health education of posyandu cadres regarding basic immunization using leaflets, posters, and pocket books. Results: Based on evaluation of counseling, average pre-test scores were 60.45, and post-test scores were 87.17. The mean difference was 26.667, and the significant value was p=0.000. This indicates that health education increases cadres' knowledge of the importance of complete basic immunization for infants and toddlers.
